When using the Materials Viewer, it is mandatory if you want to see the materials to change your graphic settings.
Go to Preferances, then Graphics and click on Advanced Lighting Model. That way you will get the full effect of the new textures.

showed no texture or a blurry texture when worn. This happened to
everyone, myself included. When I clicked the mesh and went to the
texture tab, the clothing’s mesh texture would rezz. But, when I logged
off and logged back in, the texture would be blurry again.
I work with
Blender 2.49 and when I upload meshes into LeeZuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09836990581935621178noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5371601103623070423.post-41725349652408506862012-09-26T08:40:00.002-07:002012-09-26T08:40:36.884-07:00Textures On Mesh Clothing Not RezzingGreetings! Are you having trouble seeing MESH textures? There is a bug with the viewer! We have a quick fix for you!! Take the item from your inventory list and rezz onto the ground. *** MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE EITHER IN EDIT OR BUILD MODE WHEN REZZING MESH AS THEY CAN BE TINY AND HARD TO FIND ONCE REZZED. Rezz all the sizes out on the ground. Wear your size. The texture should rezz.

For my sculpties I use AC3D. Its a very simple but effective 3D program and you don't need to have Blender or Maya skills to handle it. You can download a trial version here www.inivis.com.
After the download open the program and you will see four different sections which will display your sculpt from each angle.

I will try to explain clearly step by step in the hope that this tutorial will also help people that are not yet very familiar with the building option in Second Life. I actually wanted to do this much earlier, but was kept busy with other things. But now it's here, and i will try to update it frequently. The bad news though, is that I work with my Photoshop CS in German, so i am not sure if it will recognize the english word for specific tools.
